Privacy notice
The short version: this site collects nothing about you. Ashlow Airport does not exist, the forms send nothing, and there are no cookies and no analytics.
What this site is
Ashlow Airport is a fictional business. This site is a design showcase. There is no airport, no handling team and no office behind it, so there is no one here to receive your details, and nothing on the site is built to collect them.
The forms and the checklist
The handling request form and the short form on the community page are part of the showcase. They check what you type and show it back to you. They send nothing: what you type is not sent over the internet, not saved in your browser, and not kept anywhere. Close or reload the page and it is gone.
The checklist on the arrive and depart page works the same way. Ticks are not saved.
Please do not type real details into the forms. They do not need any.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Because there is nothing to agree to, there is no cookie banner.
The control that pauses the clouds does not remember your choice. Nothing is saved in your browser.
What your browser fetches
Everything the page needs comes from this site itself: the pages, the two typefaces, the paper texture and the scripts that draw the clouds and the line and show whether the airport is open. Nothing is fetched from any other site while you read.
The operations box works out Ashlow's local time and UTC in your browser, from your device's own clock. It sends nothing anywhere.
The public holiday dates it uses are worked out on this site from the rules for England and Wales, so your browser never contacts anyone for them.
Hosting
If this showcase is published, Cloudflare hosts it. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical details every browser sends when it asks for a page, such as your IP address and your browser's user agent, so that it can deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. Cloudflare is based in the United States and may process data there.
The phone numbers and email addresses
The phone numbers on this site are from the range Ofcom keeps for drama, and are not connected to anyone. The email addresses use example.com, which is reserved for examples. Calling or writing to them reaches no one, so nothing you say is received.
Your rights
This site holds no details about you, so there is nothing for it to show you, correct or delete. If you think a site has mishandled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
What a real airport's notice would add
On a real airport's site, the handling request would carry personal data: a contact's name, email and phone number, and the number of people on board. Its notice would say who receives a request, how long it is kept, the lawful basis for using it, and which services send and store it. This notice does not, because none of that happens here.
Questions about this notice
Questions about this showcase's privacy: [to confirm: a real contact for the showcase, decided by the owner]. The example.com addresses on this site reach no one.
